March is here and what a difference in the weather in comparison to this time last year when we were battling the Beast from the East! We’re waking up to bright, sunny mornings exactly how Spring should be with lambing season about to begin and daffodils popping up everywhere. There’s so much to see and do around here, it’s hard to fit it all in!
We’d recommend taking a trip to Thorpe Perrow Arboretum for their annual daffodil trail, a stunning display of Mother Natures beauty well worth a visit from mid March to mid April. Constabel Hall in nearby Leyburn also has an impressive display of Spring flowers, you could even incorporate a visit within a walk exploring the area.
Pancake Day is here too-we receive countless compliments on our traditional Yorkshire breakfast but we may just have to treat our sweet tooth on the 5th!
We’ve been busy as always gearing up for National B&B week, running from March 18th-we’re joining in again this year with our own offer to celebrate and still have some last minute availability if you fancy joining us!
Easter will soon be here, bringing hopefully some warmer weather and of course some chocolate eggs for the little ones. If you’re looking for an Easter escape we’re offering a special rate over the period and would love to welcome you. We can’t wait to get out and enjoy Spring, surrounded by signs of new life with new born lambs filling the fields and flowers decorating the hedge rows!
